yamaha fz 16 is good fun for street riding and basically while riding it you are in upright position which makes you taller than yamaha r15 in which you are more in a track racing position. fat tyres are cooler than thin ones and the rear shocks are adjustable on fz 16 and not on r15.. so overall the yamaha fz 16 is better for urban ride and it is worth every rupee for about 70k

Have you noticed that the yamaha fz 16 is actually shorter in height and length than the R15 ?
the yamaha fz 16 looks like any other normal bike man truly dont get carried away by what people say have a look at the fz 16 and then you will know the all digital info. panel looks so small and front of bike looks very common not so fun compared to the r15 look. R15 truly looks like a sports bike and the yamaha fz 16 looks more just another common bike fat tyres are also not that impressive besides it does not have FI not both disc brakes (only front). anyways, thats what i think… you get what you pay for
both bikes are fuck off
1) yamaha r15 17bhp > yamaha fz 16 14bhp
2) yamaha r15 has fuel injection tech.
3) yamaha r15 has cooler headlights
4) yamaha r15 has 5 gears
5) yamaha r15 has cool accessories
6) looks better
yamaha fz 16 has:
1) yamaha fz 16 has adjustable rear shock
2) yamaha fz 16 has a main stand
3) yamaha fz 16 has fat tyres
4) cheaper bike and spares
I am of the opinion that the yamaha r15 is overall better & more fun than the fz 16…

Guys believe it or not its has been given in BIKEINDIA magazine that fz16 has a better pickup than r15 but top speed of r15 is more than fz 16
yarr R15 has got racing skills frm highway & tracks……but FZ 16 is for city ride {Quite good intial acceleration but somewhat less top speed than R15…
if u r considering the technology than R15 has got more than fz16 like sporty headlights,,rear disc,,liqid cooled engine,,fuel injection tech etc……
BUT fz16 has got killer looks…..and also cheaper than r15
r i5 is a chutiya bike and fz 16 is a superbike thats all game over fz 16 wins….

fz 16 and r15 cannot be compared both engines are different,if u want to compare fz16 with any other bike then fz16 wins

girl in yamaha bike station told me both bikes are good… this is what she said to be precise: “fz 16 buri bike nahi hai but r15 jaisa pickup nai milenga “

if u replace the tyre of r15 with 140/60 fazer tyre,you will loose the mileage of the veichle,yamaha have made a great research on choosing the thin rear tyres as it gives ease in handling and good road grip in high speeds and in raining roads too…
i would choose fz 16. i feel it better than r15. r15 is not much stylish like a sports bike but its features are good.handiling r15 in city & traffic is too difficult.fz 16 will gave the ride more confidence in riding its too stylish & has a look like motorcross bikes.i like its tyers which gave more stability on slidly turning, r15 hah only widthless tyers. also the bike has no height.but i like the finishing done in r15
the delta box and tank are allocated neatly also the brake systems.

hey r15 is great in its engine performance like pick up and bhp but the looks like chicken, the tyres its of cycle.. but the fz16 have a monster look and its tyres are better lookin according to its body and the engine performance is also better in city areas and highway… fz16 rules..the lord of streets…
hey guys FZ 16 is great naked bike.thee secret of it’s looks r the rear fat tyres.compared to R15 it’s a great option i booked yesterday book yours to.
u have to regret abt the large number plate on the face of the bike and the smal speedo meter…
it does not have the kick start i feel that it’s for girls who can’t kick bt v can’t blame yamaha for this…….
bt at last buy a new fz16….u will fall in love ith the lords of street.
it is very hot bike.when I am riding on streets all r looking my bike and also asking this is alteration bike.bye
the fz 16 i tried gives a sudden acceleration and is great for cities and highways….easy handling even in cities….so far considering the ratio of price and perfomance, i believe fz 16 is better…
the r15 i tried is difficult to handle in pocket roads…
r15 got a sporty look while fz 16 is the pulsar killer….
a drawback in r15 look is the slim tyres comparing to the broad body….(different from r1)…
but it might be helpfull in someway…(afterall,its topclass engineers who designed it..)….
r15 is nothin but juz looks…..i believe a few bhp’s increase won’t make much of a difference….
1)fz 16 topspeed=130 r15=145kmph
(in indian roads what is the difference…both will hardly touch 125 kmph…)
2)0-60 kmph in 4 seconds 0-60 in 3.2 seconds
(you got to pay extra 40000 rs to gain a lead of 0.8 seconds)

fz is mostly for city driving & r15 is both for city & high way but better on high way
and from money point of view u will get more satisfaction of spended money in yamaha r15 coz it got both f&r disc brakes so but abous more control and faster control on u bike where as fz has got only r disc brake
fz is a very light bike u will have this feel in highways where u will be at higher speed
where as r15 is not like that its more stable with its thin tyres
u people judge the both bikes with its tyre size u think fz have got a wide tyre so it wont slip of and thats true but only in city rides try to understand that r15 tyres r made in such a way that it wont slip of in turns in which u tilt the bike to kiss the road at a higher speed where as in fz u wont be able to tilt the bike to such an extent bcoz of its wide tyres so ultimately your speed will break down more rapidly bcoz u most have noticed that fz’s tyre is in contact with the road with all its body spread but where as r15 tyres touches the road in three diff ways i’ll explain when ur in idle position or moving in a straight direction the middle part of the tyres r in friction when u turn right, right side of the tyre is in friction and vice versa to other side so this ultimately shows that less friction means more smootly moving and remember accident doesnt always occur for ur bikes mechanicam or shape or how slower or how faster ur bike is . it depends on ur own skills, whether u have a r15 or fz or ducati or a hayabusa,. never ever judje a bike on its accident raio use ur brain or nuts. And i would finally say that R15 is a whole lot of diff experiance from fz . now it depends on ur taste and what kind of trill u wana exp. and ya one more thing i would like to share that fz’s low profile tyres are a bit bumpy on off roads even when u compare it with any 125 cc bike. so u can understand r15 is way a head
